Beautiful Anthurium Zara x Michelle bred by Doc Block, of Nurturing Nature. Docs famous hybrids are known for their vigor and stunning red and purple emergent leaves. ALL photos are of the exact plant for sale, taken at different leaf developmental stages. This particular plant has more of Zaras’ emergent leaf coloring (red) and greater similarity with Michelle’s veining. The red in Zara comes from the same plant used in breeding of Red Crystallinum. Plant material that Doc uses goes all the way back to Tim Andersons' plants, a well known Aroider. Veining on this particular plant's emergent leaf is in fact pink but I was unable to capture it.
Newest leaf is still hardening off. In the first month or two emerging leaves, go through red / bronze and chocolate shades, then start fading down to dark green. At that time a gorgeous red new leaf will start pushing through. Always something to appreciate. Stunner! I will keep adding photos as the leaf continues to mature.

Any questions ask away.
Please note we now only ship Monday and Tuesday. This doesn’t mean you shouldn’t place your order later in the week, it means that we will hold onto your plant baby for a few days so that it doesn’t get stuck on a hot truck or in a sorting facility over weekend. You are most welcome to place your order any day of the week.
Shipping is stressful for plants so yellowing, browning, or leaf damage can happen. This especially applies to all white parts of Monstera Albo. Your plant will be packaged and handled very carefully whilst in our care. Please note that we are not responsible for any damage occurred during shipping. Likewise shipping delays due to weather or other events are also out of our hands. We ship priority and will provide you with tracking. Please get in touch if you have any questions.
Creaky Shed is not liable for damage done to our plants by USPS, delayed shipping / delivery times, loss or mishandling of a package. While we try my best to carefully package each plant, the buyer understands things may happen beyond the seller’s control during transit and whilst plants are in the possession of USPS. Please contact USPS directly for ALL questions regarding the status of you shipment. We do not have any additional information regarding your package once it is no longer in our possession.
In addition please note we believe in caring for, and enjoying our plants, in accordance with earth friendly practices and therefore do not use any pesticides. We do however use predatory insects that we preventatively release twice a year. This means that your plants may arrive with unintended hitchhikers, which you may or may not be able to see. Predatory insects, however, do not feed on plant material, they in fact feed on pest such as aphids, mealy bugs, thrips, spider mites etc. Organic, and in accordance with nature is always better!
